LISTING OF AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIP RESOURCES:

Expanding Access to Educational Opportunities

At the Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation of Maryland Inc., we believe that financial barriers should never prevent a student from pursuing higher education. While our Foundation’s scholarship resources are limited, our commitment to helping students access college funding is unlimited.

To support students and families in their search for financial assistance, we have compiled a collection of trusted scholarship databases, financial aid resources, and funding opportunities offered by colleges, nonprofit organizations, corporations, and educational foundations throughout the nation.

We encourage every student to begin the scholarship search early and apply often. Thousands of scholarships go unclaimed each year because eligible students never submit an application. With persistence, preparation, and access to the right resources, students can significantly reduce the cost of their college education.

Our mission is not only to provide support directly, but also to connect students to every available opportunity that can help them achieve their educational goals.

Kappa Foundation Scholarship Success Tip

Students who begin searching for scholarships during their junior year of high school and apply consistently throughout their senior year often maximize their opportunities for financial assistance. Scholarship success is less about finding one large award and more about applying for many scholarships throughout the year.
